"TEEN DRINKERS DON'T GROW OLD"
They Die Young

It is said that teen drinkers or smokers don’t grow old, which others think as a good thing. But the fact is they don’t grow old because they die young. No offense but it’s the truth. But this doesn't indicate that drinking alcohol & smoking is forbidden to happen. Almost 60 percent of teenagers these days are drinkers or smokers, especially for the gentlemen. It’s a bit of shocking but true and a half of this 60 percent is even the educated ones. The risk that teens will smoke, drink, and use illegal drugs increases sharply if they are highly stressed and frequently bored. Others that have complete innocence, thought that doing these things are more likely called to be “COOL”. These things are definitely not cool it’s a perfect temptation for our curiosity to try new things which leads us to a complete waste of life. And so a good thing to do about this is to focus our attention within our studies rather than to drugs, alcohol & smokes. We teenagers are supposed to live our lives fully with use or better yet with sense. There is always a time for everything but this time shouldn't be wasted just for those silly things. Be focused and think of the outcome of your actions first before you do it. Today’s the day to change and it's up to you if you’re going to be the one to start the first step of change or you’re just going to feel nothing about it ‘cause life is what we make it. So think twice and be wise. Remember : It's better to be late than never.

Here we should expect lots of possibilities about ourselves ‘cause we will be encountering new people, new challenges and specially unexplainable emotions. High school is the most unforgettable part of our lives

With colossal amounts of information for young adults regarding issues that these individuals face in their everyday life, it is hard to comprehend why they are still making unwise choices. The poem, “Hash for Cash” (Gina Higgins) exceptionally portrays a young adult who is “stoned to the eyebrows” (Hash for Cash) because he or she has chosen to do drugs and irresponsible alcohol usage. These individuals may have heaps of excuses for why these individuals first got involved, but ultimately it was in their hands to refuse the urge of experimenting this new substance. The reason being that they knew about its consequences −that would later take is in command of the person’s life. Subsequently “studies seem a waste of time”(Hash for Cash) and alas for most of these individuals, “reality [becomes]…

High school is a different experience for everyone. The first three years really blend together and do not seem important, but senior year is completely different. Freshman year was full of confusion, learning an array of new things. Sophomore year was where life started to get fun and you “belonged” in the high school. Junior year was where you see the little light at the end of the tunnel, but it was filled with anxiety and frustration. Senior year is where it all becomes worth it and the rest of your life is finally going to begin.…

High School to some is the best part of their lives and to others is the worst part of their life. As for me I believe high school is just about setting goals and achieving them. Personally, I set up three important and motivating yet perceivable individual goals to get me through high school. My First Goal is to not miss more than two days of school in the entire school year. My second goal is to finish my high school career with the 26 credits that I am required if not maybe more. Finally my third high school goal I plan to end high school with a 3.8 Grade Point Average.…

Growing up we all looked forward to starting high school, but how many of us enjoyed every bit of it? High school was a moment that I looked forward to; thoughts of doing what I finally wanted to flood my mind. In June 2008, I received my GSAT result and was delighted when I saw that I passed for the William Knibb Memorial High School; although a bit disappointed because it wasn’t on my top five list. High school was not everything that I expected. In a few days, I met a few nice people. The first week of school was amazing, but after a few weeks things started getting intense. High school; however, was no bed of roses, especially when it came onto the subjects, reports, and school rules.…

High school will definitely be different. I find myself often wondering what it will be like. Not knowing what to expect is what scares me the most.
