Fall Of Empires
The world experienced many changes through the years of 300 to 1500 C.E. The first empires rose, and when they fell new ones were ready to take their place. These empires became even more connected through trade routes. With trade came the spread of religion, culture, and ideas. The spread of religion also lead to today’s widespread world religions. Trade was not always a good thing, though, it also spread deadly diseases that reduced populations and caused the fall of empires.
The three classical civilizations of China, Rome, and India were great empires at their peaks, but by 550 C.E. all of them had collapsed. Some of the many reasons for the fall of the Han Empire were political corruption, pressure on China’s borders by nomadic tribes,

The Roman Empire proofed too expansive to be sustained by the available resources with no new technological innovations especially when the revenue decreased due to no new countries being conquered. China’s increase in population contributed to the collapse of the empire as did the decrease of the Roman population.…

    During the 600s to the 1450s, trading was mostly done by land. There were long-distance trading occurring then, but not as much sea travel and ocean trade routes as in the 1450s to 1750s time period. The post-classical period (600-1450) included the long-distance trade from the European to the African kingdoms. However, there wasn’t any constant trading happening between the eastern and western hemisphere. On the other side, during the time frame after this (1450-1750), trading was constant with the western and eastern hemispheres now connected by sea-based travel. World trade patterns where happening due to the Atlantic Ocean trade eventually crossing of the Pacific Ocean. Trading began with small items and grew to even humans, slaves. Trade routes influenced the cultures and belief systems back then also. Connections between different people brought both positive and negative effects. Technology also improved because of necessary traveling items.…

    In the time leading up to it's fall, the Roman Empire was almost constantly being invaded by numerous foreign groups. Most of these groups were nomadic or seminomadic peoples who were drawn to the lavish lifestyle of the Romans. Other reasons for the fall of Rome include the fact that they simply had conqured too much land to keep control of, trouble managing monetary issues such as high inflation, and the rise of Christianity making the attitude of the everyday Roman citizen less desperate and dependant on the Roman Emperors that they previously worshiped. Eventually, the empire split into two parts, the east and the west. The outcomes of the fall of both sides of this divided empire include extensive invasions of the Barbarians in Europe, loss of general education and ancient knowlage, and the begging of the Dark Ages. The Han Dynasty faced many of the same issues leading to it's fall. The government gradually lost control of it's people and land all while becoming more and more corrupt. A new religion, Daoism, was introduced that brought the lower class citizens hope and led to the protest of government morality and operation. Very much like the Roman Empire, the Han dynasty struggled to push back foreign invaders such as the Huns, who made them suffer greatly time and time again by ruthlessly plundering their land. Eventually, after the fall of the Han Dynasty, China was split into three seperate parts and thrown into a very chaotic time period.…
