Fairy Fields Monologue
Fairy Fields is never quiet, with fairies playing and dancing their protector, the dragon Orville played his old guitar.
The oldest fairy Opaline, sang alongside him,
And those who lived there lived in joy with their song.
Their music made almost everyone happy, all but one
And today, the tune echoed through his domain louder than ever.
Who else but the Devil, who lived down below,
Would seethe in anger at the sound of their joy.
What horrible noise! This must end right now! He cried.
I can’t stand to hear it a second more!
He had to get rid of them, but he could not just leave.
So he called for his youngest, one sin out of seven.
A glutton he was, Wallace was his name
For one called a demon, he’d act like a saint

The second that they charged at the fairies, the music screeched to a halt.
Wallace pounced upon them, his underlings in tow.
The fairies, Captured one by one
Opaline, then Orville too.
All dragged off to a cave down below
But Orville and Opaline escaped with ease,
And ran from the smaller demon's grasp.
Creeping down the gothic hall with fear in their hearts, made their way
To free the other fairies from the 7th deadly sin.
Wallace meanwhile, kept watch of the others
But he was having second thoughts, and his stomach growled with hunger.
One of his father's minions heard this and came to him, whispering to the beast
Those fairies might be rather small, but they’d make a good snack.
He suggested, with a smirk.
Your father wouldn't mind at all.
Wallace tried to hide his disgust. Though the demons were all watching.
Orville ran to the demon’s den, Opaline right behind
They knew not if they’d live to tell the tale,
But their fairy friends screams echoed through the halls
A ghastly call they could not ignore
As they made their way to the demon's den
The glutton held the cage up towards him, trembling
The fairy inside shrieked in terror, making him flinch.
