Is Facebook good for America?
Facebook is a social network service which was founded by Mark Zuckerberg around February 2004. As of today, Facebook is one of the most commonly used website with more than 600 Million users that’s using it practically every day. The service that Facebook gives to the people have positive and as well as negative impact to the individuals. In this society, people need social networking websites like Facebook, MySpace, Tumblr, and Twitter. It helps everybody around the world get connected and it also helps the economy with the billions and billions of dollars it’s making. What’s extremely special about Facebook and other social networking websites is that it’s completely free, and it always will be. This made it affordable to everyone around the world that has access to the internet. All they have to do is sign up and they’ll be ready to go. Facebook will easily find anybody around the around with just their first and last name typed into the search bar on the top. Once they reach the Facebook page of the person that’s being searched they will see on the right side corner if they have mutual friends. With a simple “add friend” option, there can be unlimited possibilities that can happen. Facebook shares information and personal interest with all your friends. It is good for people who don’t have enough physical contact or they don’t have time to see them in person. The

    In “The Social Network”, directed by David Fincher, Jesse Eisenberg plays the role of the founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg. This film depicts all the successes and conflicts that Zuckerberg had to go through in order to make Facebook the most successful social networking site in the world. After launching a website called “facemash” Zuckerberg became so popular that he was confronted by the Winklevoss twins. Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss asked Zuckerberg to create a website for college students at Harvard but Zuckerberg eventually veered off into a different direction hence the creation the of Facebook. The Winklevoss twins are now angered by the fact that Zuckerberg apparently “stole” their idea, and take him to court. After numerous meetings the Winklevosses’ were given a settlement of 65 million dollars that was not deserved. The Winklevosses’ should not have received a penny of Zuckerberg’s money simply because they did not physically create Facebook, Zuckerberg did not use any of their “codes” to make the site, and the Winklevoss twins did not fund during the creation of Facebook.…
