Extrinsic Motivation In Nursing Education
Nurse educator needs adequate potentials and capacities through participation in the educational program. Nurses need to have the intention through CEU program so that they can make well job. If they do not have positive motivations, they cannot participate during an educational program. Nurses need to commitment and desire during an educational program. They have to know there are intrinsic and extrinsic factors through CEU program. If nurses wish to apply for CEU program, they have to ask about time, date, location, training system, and compensations during the job. If the nurse educator has financial support and adequate time, he/she can apply and continue with the educational program. However, some nurses think of their family and do not want to spend their time with CEU program. Also, some nurses do not work without appropriate compensations and reasonable salaries.

Intrinsic reinforcement related to personality. Intrinsic motivation is internal rewards and inside individual. Nurses have to enjoy with the educational program. Nurse educator can excite and interesting during the CEU program. Nurses do not have pressure from others. Activity and fun also types of intrinsic motivation. Some factors may increase intrinsic motivation, such as brave, domination, collaboration and competition, and admission. Intrinsic factors also like self factors, personal responsibility, and personal motivation. Nurses might have responsibility through the educational program. Nurses can improve their skills and appropriate profession and also acquire knowledge during the CEU program. Intrinsic motivation also might be appropriate factor for students in the primary and secondary schools because they need intrinsic factors during the

    Both extrinsic and intrinsic motivators exist. Extrinsic motivation means doing something that leads to a separable outcome and intrinsic motivation means doing something because it is inherently interesting or enjoyable (Ryan and Deci, 2000).
