If I had to pick one extracurricular activity to pursue in college, I would definitely choose club volleyball. Ever since I started playing volleyball in the 7th grade, I have been hooked. From that point on, the sport has become an invaluable part of me that has helped me grow into the person I am today. Since I joined volleyball two years after most of my peers, I was put on the “B-team.” I was determined to work as hard as I could to be placed on an advanced high school team. Thankfully, my hard work earned me a spot on a state-winning varsity roster as a freshman. We went on to win two state championships, and I personally received an All-West Region award. In this way, volleyball taught me that teamwork, dedication, and perseverance
