Explain Why There Are Actions Louder Than Words
Actions Versus Words; Which are Louder? People tend to not think about the effects of their actions or words; however, both can have a profound effect on others. Words can be twisted, but actions remain the same forever. In my experience, the majority of individuals do not understand how deeply others are affected by their words and actions. Actions, as with words, cannot be taken back: therefore, favorably utilizing them is important, since they can both change another person’s trust. Actions and words are both powerful tools in the human toolbox; however, actions are louder than words, since actions cannot be altered. With this in mind, an obvious example of actions speaking louder is Mother Teresa: she is not known just for what she said, but rather what she did. Instead of just talking about the poor, she went out and lived with them, took care of them, and essentially gave her life to them. One of the quotes she is remembered for is, “If you judge people, you have no time to love them” (Catholic Online). Through her actions, she proved she believed this was true. Another example

However, the minority of the population are sufficiently using actions wisely, while the majority struggles with this concept. Those who believe words are louder are gullible: any human can trick anyone else in believing a lie in words, however, to act out what they are saying can be a different story. On this planet, the average person uses their actions to benefit themselves, and not to be a positive influence, even though their speech may tell a different story. Therefore, problems of actions affecting relationships could be solved if everyone would realize the truth in the phrase “actions speak louder than words.” People might be more cautious about their actions, and how they reflect back on them.
