For example, a behaviour policy that highlights the code of conduct expected from all children reassures the child that the school have consequences in place if a child is being unsafe. This may include if a child is being unsafe with equipment in class that child will get a negative consequence. Similarly, if a child gets bullied theyâ€TMll know something will be done about it as the school bullying policy highlights the procedure that teachers will have to follow if an incident takes place, it doesnâ€TMt get overlooked. Policies such as all adults on site that are not a part of school staff are registered, also help. As whoever is in school from the outside the school is always aware of, which provides a sense of security for children and parents.
