Insulated Concrete Forms

Insulating Concrete Form (ICF) are a system of formwork for reinforced concrete that stays in place as a permanent interior and exterior form for walls, floors, and roofs. The forms are interlocking linked units that are stacked without mortar and filled with concrete. The forms lock together somewhat like Lego bricks and serve to create a form for the structural walls or floors of a building. It is not like the traditional wooden forms that are erected before the construction and once the concrete has hardened they are then removed. ICF construction has become common for both low rise commercial and highly energy residential construction as more stern energy efficiency and natural disaster resistant building codes are adopted.

Attached at the base of the tablet is the touch cover which is optional if you decide to purchase the tablet. It is used like your standard laptop keyboard with the exception that there are no buttons; you just touch the perceived letter and it registers on the screen. There is also an optional type cover which is a thinner version of your standard keyboard. Towards the bottom of the cover is a track pad used like what you would on a laptop. You will also notice there is something supporting this contraption. It is a kick-stand that is attached to the tablet itself. When use of the Surface is done, the unit folds up like a book, touch/type cover and all to help protect the screen.…

Abstract [Many tasks that are performed on the computer require the use of both a keyboard on the mouse, and many people find it frustrating and awkward to have to switch back and forth between them. The air mouse can be a great solution for this.] As computers have evolved from 66MHz to the 3+GHz today, the mouse has remained relatively unchanged. There have been only two major changes to the mouse since its inception: more buttons, and interface changes (PS/2, USB, Wireless) but the core interaction method has not changed. The touch pad mouse and the stick mouse have been designed for a laptop, but have not gained momentum outside of laptops.[ And most laptop users usually carry a USB mouse with the laptop as well.] The accelerometer based mouse can be treated as the new age input device. It is more natural in its feel and provides the user with better ease of use. The user interface of applications can be changed to utilize the free hand movement possible with the device.…

These systems allow users to issue commands by using one of several common input devices. For example, a computer mouse, with one or more buttons, can be used to click or drag icons on the screen. In place of a mouse, special-purpose pointing devices or styluses are often used by graphic artists or on several types of handheld devices.…
