Racism is hate that is found from one person to another. It is when people make extreme fun of others that have a different race; different ethnicity. In this movie, “The Blind Side” there is an African-American boy named Michael Oher, everyone called him “Big Mike” because he was over weighted. He had a mother who wasn't stable enough to keep him with her, she was a drug addict and he had no idea who his father was. He went to several foster homes, he ran away from many because he was treated differently. He was homeless, one day he was walking on the streets in the middle of the night and the Tuohy family saw him and took him home. Leigh and Sean Tuohy became Michael’s legal guardians. Also, if one dark person steals, kills, or does any criminal thing, others are considered the same. No one should be judged by their skin colour or the way they dress up, it’s their life. At the end of the day, everyone has the same blood colour, not like we have different blood colours like brown, black, or white. At the end of the day, we are humans that are perfect because we are different and unique from one another but we’re still humans. Everyone makes mistakes but that doesn't mean the person should be judged for the rest of their life. Just imagine living in a world where people make fun of you because the way you look and your religion, imagine them judging you for something you didn't even do. The Tuohy’s were the perfect example of a caring, non-judging, speechless human beings, their were many others in the movie that didn't even care about Michael intact half of them just ignored him.
