Examples Of Normative Social Influence Of Compliance On Public Behaviour
A person changes their public behaviour, but their private opinions may remain the same. Usually created by Normative Social Influence. An example of Compliance would be a person deciding to do Duke of Edinburgh because all of their friends are doing it.
Identification
Which is when a person takes on the views of the group when they join that group. These are internalised and do not change once that individual is away from the influence of the group. This is also based on Informational Social Influence. An example would be voting for a political party after hearing their views and deciding that you have changed your opinion.

A person may take on the views of the group, whilst in that group, but changes them back after they
