Examples Of National Quality Standards
The National Quality standards contains 18 standards that provide a strong benchmark in early childhood education services. These standards “enable educators to enhance children’s physical and psychological wellbeing by promoting children’s health and safety and minimizing risk from harm, injury and infection” (Australian Children’s Education & care quality authority [ACEQCA] 2011) These standards influence educators practice in early childhood settings by enabling them to use these standards to achieve similar aims.
