Ashleigh McCallum {Point Of View} 04/28/14 Anne Frank had a dreadful life, considering the cultural of the time she lived. In The Diary of Anne Frank, written by Anne Frank herself, she describes her life and you can understand the point of view in the text. The story takes place during the Holocaust, and Anne and her family have to survive on their own. Some of the people remind me of people I know, I learned that they had a harder time than we do today, and that there are many things they experienced that I haven’t.

She reminds me of my sister because she has flaws, is nice, and can get a temper. Another way that she reminds me of my sister, is that she will do the best for other people. Anne Frank lived in a time, where the cultural is different from today. From her cultural I learned that they didn’t believe people were equal. They thought Jews were different, and that Jews had to go to concentration camps, and they weren’t treated fairly. I also learned that their government didn’t seem to “function properly.” Another thing is that their time was harsh. They didn’t have the best houses, or the best “neighbors,” there were a lot of break-ins, and they had to find a way to live through all of it.
