Examples Of Lennie's Friendship
Steinbeck shows friendship can not just help you but others no matter what happens. For example, when George was trying to protect Lennie he says “Course you did. Well , look. Lennie-if you jus’ happen to get in trouble like you always did before, I want you to come right here an’ hide in the brush.”(Steinbeck 15). George wants Lennie to be safe so he had a place for him to go to in case something went south. Lennie’s friendship is very important to him because George has Lennie’s back. Later on nearing the end of Mice and Men When George was confronting with calmness before he shot Lennie George said “No, Lennie. I ain’t mad. I never been mad, and’ now that's a thing I want you to know”(Steinbeck 106). George was making Lennie’s last moments

For instance, Sloane , who draws attention to herself with even trying and brights up the room, her best friend Emily stands in Sloane’s shadow ,but she is completely okay with it. At first, Emily didn’t know what to do as she hesitated towards the wistful girl she finds herself helping her. This girl is named Dawn she is very passionate and agreeable. Dawn lost all of her friends due to a break up with her ex-boyfriend finds herself lonely. Emily helps to bring her up from sorry if Dawn never met Emily they would never be friends and friends help each other if something goes
