“Revenge his foul and most unnatural murder.” This quote helps convey the thought that revenge is a poison to the mind, and can create a violent obsession. One would see this if they were to look at how Prince Hamlet’s behavior changed from the time of the King’s death to Hamlet’s death. It all started with King Hamlet’s death. Hamlet became quiet, and rarely showed emotion. It was when the ghost of King Hamlet appeared that revenge poisoned Hamlet’s mind.     In the play Hamlet, Shakespeare creates a rich emotional fabric in Hamlet's first soliloquy.
