EXAMINATION SCHEDULING SYSTEM
IN THE
PANPACIFIC UNIVERSITY NORTH PHILIPPINES
Background of the Study According to the registrar’s the current system of Pan Pacific University North Philippines is not effective in times of posting examination schedule. Some students and teachers are not satisfied about the system that they are using. There are some issues that we need to correct in terms of the time of the examinations period.
The examination scheduling system purposed is to facilitate the preparation of examination schedules to reduce manual involvement and the amount of time taken to prepare examination schedules.
Statement of the Problem Specifically, the study seeks to answer the following questions:
1. What are the problems encountered regarding the existing examination scheduling by
Students
Instructors
Scheduling personnel
2. What will be the features that are needed in the proposed system in order to eliminate the following problems?
3. What are the security measures would be implemented in the proposed system?
Objectives of the Study
1. To determine the problems encountered in the existing system by the students, instructor, and scheduling personnel;
2. To determine the features needed to eliminate the following problems;
3. To determine the security measures that will be implemented in the propose system;
Significance of the Study
This study aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of examination schedule in Panpacific University North Philippines.
To the University. This proposed system shall help the university by providing a better result regarding of examination through improvements in academic excellence of students shall reflect the university where they study and learn.
To the Instructors. This will serve as a guide for all instructor and scheduling personnel of the university in setting the examination scheduling with minimal problem and flexibility for adjustments that will result to the convenience of their
