Subject: Improvement on written refusals

I am writing today to provide all employees with some useful tips on how to compose a customer refusal letter. While the example letter to Mr. Largo is factual, there are some things that could be presented much better. Presentation of facts could determine if we are able to retain customers and reflect the credibility of the company. Some key elements that I want to focus on are: • Tone • Punctuation and Grammar • Professionalism
The best way to begin a refusal is by setting an apologetic tone. You do not want to point blame at the customer, even if you feel they are wrong. Show empathy, and see if you can help them in anyway possible. Remember when writing a refusal all that’s representing our company are the words on the page; so we must use correct grammar and punctuation.

Thank you for your attention and your time. I encourage our department to utilize these factors when writing a refusal letter. I want all refusals emailed to me, before mailing them. If there are any questions, problems or concerns you can reach me by email (twhitmore@mainappliance.com).

Although the Aztecs and the Incas were both isolated groups with a powerful and elite middle class in South America that existed around the same time, the empires developed different political means. The Aztecs were a major tribe/civilization located in Central Mexico. The Incas were also a tribe/civilization located in Peru. While their geographic locations were completely different, they had established a society with a unique form of political structure. The information of a memo is important because it tells the audience the reason for writing the memo. Memorandums can have information that does not apply to the message. For instance, Andrew had information about Macy’s winning the test case against the United States right to use LIFO. This information is not necessary because it does not apply to the company. A memo with information overload can cause the audience to lose their attention, and it has the potential of letting the audience know that they have no knowledge of the subject.…

    1. Lou Zar's action regarding to sewing a replica of the U.S. flag to cover the backside/seat of his uniform pants was not unconstitutional. There needs to be compelling reason to restrict Lou from wearing that uniform that caused negative emotion. It would be unconstitutional if the government restricted Zar from wearing his uniform without a compelling reason. The government cannot prove that Zar's intentions were to commit or threaten any act of violence through his speech. It is true that Zar's action caused other people to get angry at the message he was trying to send and caused violence against him. But, Zar had every right to express his message by wearing his uniform. Also, there was no evidence the people are provoked by the uniform…
