Stress is people’s response to events that challenge or threaten them. Whether it is exam deadline, murders, family problems, all these events are stressors. They cause problems to our well-being. There are many ways to relieve stress naturally such as massages; it has been around for thousands of years, commonly used by the Chinese. Another stress reliever is exercise, be it running, yoga, they release endorphins into the brain which will increase your mood. Sleep is the number one stress reliever of them all. Too little makes us cranky and too much makes us even more tired. Its best to find just the right amount of sleep that makes us feel well-rested. The passionflower is believed to be a remedy for anxiety and insomnia. But only a few studies have shown that it has the same effects as benzodiazepine drugs. It is not proven but believed that it increases gamma-aminobutyric acid in the brain, which lowers brain cell activity, thus reducing stress. With these 10 ways to relieve stress naturally, people will have more options to reduce stress other than using drugs. Stress levels will decrease and people will be more focused on their working, improving society.
