Her death could be said to be accidental since she happened to be there while the fight ensued and was not taken proper care of at the hospital. The state's charges for capital murder was rather too aggressive and deserved a lesser charge. Charles might have injured Denise but he certainly does not kill her. Also, the doctor performing on Denise was not experienced enough for the job, and sources said he lied during a job interview about his experience, which means he does not know the job well enough to be performing on patients. Obviously, all this evidence were hidden from the court. In other words, he was not presented because Charles was assigned an inexperienced lawyer and did not have enough time for his defense. Charles should not be convicted for Denise’s death. If she had died while going to the hospital or even before the doctor does anything, then yes he would have been guilty of her death. Also, due to brady violations discovered and the limited time giving to Charles council to properly prepare and defend him means he was short-changed. In all the state was eager to charge him and find him guilty for the deaths of Darrin and Dennis and
