A Prokaryotic cell does not have a nucleus present. It is a single celled organism that usually only has one chromosome. This type of cell does not have a cytoskeleton. DNA is present and is circular with no protein, the DNA is not surrounded by a nuclear membrane. A Prokaryotic cell is smaller compared to a Eukaryotic cell, the average size is 1- 10 micrometers in diameter. The cell wall of this particular cell is a lot more complex it is made up of murein, not cellulose. Just like in size this cell has ribosomes but they’re smaller than a Eukaryotic would have. Due to the nature of this type of cell, a Prokaryotic cell is much more simple, making this cell found in less complex organisms. Prokaryotic are basically just bacteria. …show more content…
It is a multi-celled organism with usually more than one chromosome. This cell has a cytoskeleton. DNA is also present in this cell but in a linear form rather than circular, it also has proteins to form chromatin. The Eukaryotic cell is bigger than the Prokaryotic, with the average size being 10 to 100 micrometers (10 times bigger than the Prokaryotic cell). The cell wall of this cell is simple when present, it is a thick layer outside of the cell membrane that serves to give the cell strength. Due to the fact that it’s naturally bigger the ribosomes are also bigger than the ones found in Prokaryotic cells. This cell is found in more complex organisms such as in plants and
