Ethics in the work place is one of the most important things to demonstrate in any type of work. In the workplace, some workers tend to make hard decisions but when it comes down to making an important decision it has to be done so that everything will run smoothly. It is common today that the workers do not want to make the right decision because they feel that it is not going to hurt anyone if no decision has been made. People think that there will be an easy way to do a job but in all honesty there is only one way to do it, the bosses never pay too much attention at first but after awhile there is only so much the employee can get away with. In certain work places like fast food for example, the employees try to find the easiest way possible to finish a certain job that has to be done because some of the employees feel as if this job doesn't require a lot to do their job as long and they are doing it right.

It is often said that bosses do not tolerate it when the employees do not do their job right and not being responsible with their work Responsibility plays a huge part in the workplace, it means that someone has a certain job to do and the bosses expect that you do that job. It does not matter what the job is, as the employee you have a job to do and it is your responsibility to do the task that the boss has given to you and they are held accountable for that task. If that task is not completed then you will be faced with the consequences. Sometimes employees do not want to want to do the job right and that makes the job difficult because the workers do not care about the consequences at first. Some employees tend to take advantage of their boss because they think that they can get away with it. When it comes to the topic of fighting fire with fire most people will agree that employees assume that they can say whatever they want to the boss and not get in trouble for it. In some businesses, none of the bosses will tolerate any of the employees to do

    An ethical dilemma exists when the right thing to do is not clear or when members of the health care team cannot agree on the right thing to do (Potter, Perry, Stockert, & Hall, 2011). S.Z. is a 65-year-old Hispanic man who was admitted to the hospital for the third time in 6 months, for hyperglycemia. He is now scheduled to be discharged but his daughter pleads with the nurse that she does not want her father discharged because he is non-complaint with his medications and diet at home. She says she has small children at home and can’t be responsible for him, too. She is worried sick that he is doing this on purpose because he has been so depressed since her mother, who did everything for him, passed away. She says that her father has been seeing a curanderos, who treats him with traditional methods and that he refuses to take his medicine and only follows what the curanderos tells him to do. She does not agree with this and confides that she hopes to find a way to prevent her father from seeing this person and wants to know if the nurse can have her father’s discharge canceled and to ask the doctor to admit him to a nursing home where they can ensure he eats right and takes his medicine and not the herbs he has been using.
