Ethical Issues In The Hunger Games
When the need to survive arises, people will go to great lengths and do the unthinkable in order to live through a dilemma. In literature, film, and television, characters always have to endure hardship in order to become stronger: a girl must battle against teenagers to win a game; a huge storm starts at the world, which might turn the world into a new ice age; a boy in a jewish concentration camp makes a friend and they try to find his father so that they could escape. All of them have to fight for their life.
A girl named Katniss Everdeen is sent to a 75th anniversary of “The Hunger Games.” She has to survive in order to be back with her family and see her sister, Primrose. The game consists of two people from each district, and they all have to kill each other. Although only one can survive there are people who team up and kill others. Katniss teams up with the other person from her district, and together they kill other people and get to the end. They go to the middle of the stadium because the people …show more content…
The young man goes to his university with two of his friends, and when he gets there he notices the places flooding. The news starts saying that the scientist was correct, but wrong about the time. The polar ice caps were melting now and made a huge storm that looked like a hurricane. The wind in that storm was so cold that when they breathed in the ice their whole body would freeze and die. The young man and his friends are going to the library when the water comes behind them so they start running toward the library. They had to go to the library, not for studying but to stay safe and not get killed by the water, for it was high ground. The climate is turned back to normal and everyone went back home and
