In the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind it starts when Joel (Jim Carrey) and Clementine (Kate Winslet) met at a party at the beach. They talked to each other because they are bored and don’t like the party. Clement was a girl who doesn’t like to be sweet to people. She was a happy go lucky girl while Joel was the serious guy met a crazy girl. After that they had a good relationship. They shared happy moments, shared good times and bad times. It’s like they are not marriage but they live in the same house for short it’s called Live-In. Sometimes they argued, they fight until one day they decided to break their relationship. In the story, Clement had big changes in herself and in her life because of Joel. But she hates and then they both to choose to left each other. Until Clemeting was the first to undergo of the procedure of erasing Joel in her memory to be happy. She had a successful procedure. Until Joel went to the Library to give a gift but she saw Clement talking with another guy and it was like her new boyfriend. Patrick was the technician at Lacuna. He gets all the importation about Joel, and he copy all until he gets Clement. Joel gets hurt and asked himself why? When Joel knew that Clement undergo a procedure he gets angry and as a revenge he decide to undergo to but when the process is on he realized that he loves Clemet so much. In the end, after that procedure they met again on Valentine’s Day in the train like they do not know each other. But they looked at each other like they have seen them already. After that ride they still found each other falling in love with one another.
As I watched this film, some question came up to my mind! What is memory? What is the important of memories? What if the people you chose to love is not the right one for you? What if you love at the wrong time? What if the relationship you build did not last? Do you think you can forget a person who gave you so much to remember? Do you think the feeling
