First Plan (1951-1956)
The 1st five year plan was presented by Jawaharlal Nehru, who was the Prime Minister during that period. It was formulated for the execution of various plans between 1951 to 1956. The Planning Commission was responsible for working out the plan.
Objectives of the 1st five year plan(1951 to 1956): 1; improve living standards of the people of India done by making judicious use of India’s natural resources
The total outlay of the 1st five year plan was worth Rs.2,069 crore. This amount was assigned to different sectors which included: • Industrial sector • Energy, Irrigation • Transport, Communications • Land rehabilitation • Social services • Development of agriculture and community • Miscellaneous issues 2 target set for the growth in the gross domestic product was 2.1percent every year. In reality, the actual achieved with regard to gross domestic product was 3.6 percent per annum. This is a clear indication of the success of the 1st five year plan things came

    After I completed my education, I want to contribute to the community by volunteering to teach foreign students. I have a motivation on helping foreign students because of my experience. I live with my mother’s friend but it was not the same as living with my parents. I had hard time communicating with people and that is when I discovered my passion. I started making art and expressing my feelings through art. It gave me a better understanding that art can help with self-esteem. I got more confidence talking to people because people wanted to know about my artwork. I believe that expressing through art will help to make people more confidence about themselves and get over through negative emotions. I hope that I can be part of a contribution where I can use my ability and talent to help others.…
