Bol The Movie:
After “Khuda Kay Leay” the movie which was moving around the image of Muslims in world and the terrorism Shoaib Mansoor shifted his creations to another issue but again a negative one. I watched this movie and I wasn’t able to judge whether to say I loved it or to tell the controversial side of it. Well introducing the main characters who took this movie over the box office, the cast was Atif Aslam, Iman Ali, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Shafqat Cheema, Manzar Sehbai, Zaib Rehman and Amr Kashmiri.
This movie has guts to expose one of the bitter realities prevailing in this society. Mansoor has targeted a specific society of Pakistan and a specific troupe which is of course the Pathans. The main reason for the success of this movie was the cast and its music. Its songs were being played and discussed everywhere.
Now coming towards the story of this film, Humaima was playing the main role. She was being sentenced to be hanged due to a murder charge on her. In this movie as her last wish she was telling her story to the media of her extremist father. He did not believe in birth control and thought that it was a divine thing to do so he had 8 daughters, he desired for a son but his last child turned out as a homosexual. His son wasn’t allowed to go out of the house and even he put a lot of restrictions on his daughters. He was not so rich and his family was prevailing from economic problems. He hated his children and took them as a great disgrace to him. With the help of her neighbor Humaima somehow managed to send her brother out for work at a truck station. Her brother Saif was really a good artist and he got job as a truck artist.
One day Saif at work was assaulted and raped. His father got images of his son acting like a homosexual. He murdered him. A lot of problems rose with it. Police was enquiring, his respect was being threatened and to avoid this he went to Shafqat Cheema and agreed to do work for him. Cheema demanded him to give birth to

I choose this movie because of the interesting reviews online. Not only were their reviews on the movie itself but also on a book written by Jennifer Clement titled Widow Basquiat. The movie portrayed the common actions of the people of the time well. It didn’t avoid the topics of drugs and homelessness in larger cities. It also showed some racism towards his skin color. Not only from others but from himself towards rich white people that he was working for. Overall I think that this movie did a very good job of showing his life, the good and the…

Baba and Amir, father and son, don't have the strong bond a father and son should have. Baba wonders why Amir is not more like he was as a child, sporty and manly, not poetic and shy. “He needs someone... who understands him” (Hosseini 20). All Amir wanted was his fathers love. He blames himself. Baba was portrayed as a good man, proud and strong, practically perfect. There was one flaw in all his perfection, he betrayed his best friend by sleeping with his wife. His best friend. Ali, was sterile, his wife bore a son named Hassan. Baba kept the fact that he has a second child from everyone except, Ali and a family friend. Hassan represented Baba's perfection with his one imperfection, the imperfection being his harelip.…

Some movies are inspired by true stories and events that occurred in the past and present. These three movies posit media messages to the viewers. These movies can conceive a strong correlation to humans and inspire them to move forward. Truly inspired movies can be hard to watch because it follow actual incidents and convey deep emotions and violence. One of the movie that falls into this category is Osama, written and directed by Siddiq Barmak, is set in Afghanistan. Barmak synthesizes a story of a little girl named Osama and her family, consist solely of three women under the regime of the Taliban, where women are not permitted to go out without a male, have to cover their entire body, and not licensed to work. Its plot is characterized by narrative elements. I chose this film since it incorporates various cultures, and it would be of essence to find out the interactions between youth and adults among intercultural lines. I also chose this film since it is easier to relate what is happening in it to the various developmental levels. It also illustrates how individuals can surpass racial prejudices to be of help to those in need regarding less of their tribal affiliation.…

An exceptional, heartbreaking story of the unlikely friendship between a wealthy boy and the son of his father’s servant, The Kite Runner a novel written by: Khaled Hosseini is an eye-opening story which shows that not all people are as fortunate. When it comes to comparing a story vs. a book it is amazing to see how much is left out or the choices of the director can takeaway specific themes and ideas that occurred in the actual story. The movie was deficient when it came to their descriptions of characters, and their relationships with one another which lead to the taking a way of the theme: friendship and betrayal. However, due to time limitation there is some events in the story that were forced to be changed in order to fit in the main events of the novel.…
