Transportation Decision for Families

Done by : Tamara Ghezzo & Hiba Ramadan 1- Transportation today is much different from the way that it was 50 years ago. At that time, people who wanted to buy an automobile had a small variety to choose from. Nowadays, there are so many choices that it could take months to look at all the cars on the market. For those buyers who are looking for a vehicle for their families, one of the first questions is, “should I buy a sports utility vehicle (SUV) or a four-door sedan?” To reach a decision, a buyer can compare these two car types in term of their overall cost, convenience, and style. 2- SUVs and sedans are often differ in their costs. Despite they are expensive cars, but SUVs are more expensive than Sedans. For example, if you want to buy a well-equipped Sedan car, you will pay the same price for a basic SUV car. Not only the prices of SUVs are more expensive, but also their maintenance costs are higher than Sedans. Because SUVs are large and heavy, SUVs consume more gas than four-door Sedans. In contrast, a four-door Sedan has better gas mileage.Compared to these cars; Sedans for most of the time consume less fuel to drive whatever in the city or on freeway than SUVs. Therefore, Sedans are more economical. 3- Another thing to consider is the convenience factor. Generally, SUV has a larger carrying capacity, so it can accommodate more people and luggage which is convenient for a large family. However, Sedans are limited to five passengers, so that it will not work if people need to carry seven or eight people. Moreover, in spite of the weather and road conditions, SUVs can come in handy in deep snow or wet road because they usually have four wheel drives. Additionally, higher ground clearance is an important issue needed to be considered, and people who drive the SUV can go cross country for adventure or traveling. Hence, SUVs are the best choice for a large family or a group to drive in their daily life.

4- Finally, there is the subject of style. Generally, sedans have a low step in height which allow them to fit into most garages. In addition, people can travel without giving it a second thought. Therefore, they add to people’s sense security, safety, and they are more comfortable. On the other hand, SUVs tend to have more storage space, making it a nice choice for individuals needing to haul equipment or other larger items. Moreover, people who prefer SUVs tend to have better visibility while driving it . Hence, some people think of SUVs as having a more relaxed and playful feel than that of the more traditional sedan.
5- All cars are used for transportation, but it is important to remember that, depending on the car category, there are differences in cost, convenience, and style. Choosing between an SUV and a four-door sedan is a personal decision for you and your family. Careful consideration of the information presented here will make choosing a car less complicated.

Another idea that automakers came up with is a more aggressive front end and a nice cabin. Dodge was the first car company to put this idea to the test. The buyer wants a more masculine look. "SUVs are thus fitted with vertical metal slats in their grills (a tiger bearing teeth), flared wheels and fenders."(The Psychology … par 3) This more masculine design was used by all SUV makers. People love this look, because it represents a "get out of way or I 'm going to run you over" mentality. Another addition the designers added was the home-like interior. The thought behind this is that if we were going into battle people want to look mean on the outside, but warm and cozy on the inside. These two ideas changed the…

RE: Young Leaders for Camp Elim’s Disadvantaged Kids Camp. Hi, My name is David Hayes and I am the Manager at Camp Elim at Forster. Camp Elim is owned and operated by the churches of the Mid North Coast Baptist Association and I am looking for personable, mature, youngish (16 plus) Christians with lots of energy and a sense of humour. Their mission (should they accept it) is to assist in running a camp for 1113 year olds who come from disadvantaged backgrounds or who are children at risk. These kids who are from the North & Mid North Coast Area are sponsored by their local Lions Clubs. At camp we endeavour to give them a memorable and meaningful time for one week. Mandatory Training runs from Midday Saturday 13 th April to when the Kids arrive at around 3pm on Sunday 14th. This training time also gives opportunity for getting to know one another’s strengths, humour, idiosyncrasies etc. before camp as there will be no time once the kids arrive at camp. Camp finishes for kids just after breakfast on Saturday 20th April. Leaders finish after a debrief at around 11am.. usually followed by a farewell lunch at the Food Court in Stockland Shopping Centre. The camp is run with a Camp Dad and Mum, Tim & Darlene Erieau (former New Tribes Missionaries), A couple of youthful, tireless and energetic Directors of Funky Games, an even number of male and female leaders, 24 in total of 16 to 25 year olds provide the energy to make the camp happen with about 4 other more mature adults with good eyes, wise words and caring hearts completing the team. I am would also be grateful if you could offer any suggestions for the team. There is no cost to leaders apart from getting to and from Camp Elim and sometimes we can assist with car-pooling. Varanasi, or Benaras, (also known as Kashi) is one of the oldest living cities in the world. Varanasi`s Prominence in Hindu mythology is virtually unrevealed. Varanasi was variously known as Avimuktaka, Anandakanana, Mahasmasana, Surandhana, Brahma Vardha, Sudarsana,Ramya, and Kasi.Mark Twain, the English author and literature, who was enthralled by the legend and sanctity of Benaras, once wrote : "Benaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together" . According to the ‘Vamana Purana’, the Varuna and the Assi rivers originated from the body of the primordial Person at the beginning of time itself. The tract of land lying between them is believed to be ‘Varanasi’, the holiest of all pilgrimages. The word ‘Kashi’ originated from the word ‘Kas’ which means to shine. Steeped in tradition and mythological legacy, Kashi is the ‘original ground ‘ created by Shiva and Parvati, upon which they stood at the beginning of time. Varanasi is the microcosm of Hinduism, a city of traditional classical culture, glorified by myth and legend and sanctified by religion , it has always attracted a large number of pilgrims and worshippers from time immemorial.
