Successful sports professionals can earn a grat deal more money than people in other important professions.Some people think is this fully justified while others think it is unfair.
It is rather hard to discuss these views because in the end,every person will choose his opinion.But in nowadays society everything is both easy and at the same time,difficult,and in here there are proffesions including sports athletes and such.
Now,regarding my opinion.I think it is justified and there are several reasons for that.One would be that in order to be successful in sports terms,one must be distinctly better than most who practice it.Hence this shrinks the circle of people who can succed.Another factor is that these athletes retire very early compared to normal proffesions.But during those years they earn an incredible amount of money depending on how good they truly are.If an athlete is great at what he does and is a top notch competitor,they’d be sponsored by different companies,thereby justifying their earnings.And because of this,they have a huge pressure from the sponsors,agents etc.
Now other “normal” professions such as economist,engineers etc,are not that highly paid due to them being mainstream because a lot of people apply for such jobs.That is not the same deal with sports though, because of the few people who actually “apply” for such occupations.In my opinion it all starts with how kids are brought up and how they perceive the world depending on wether or not they were being told by parents what is right and what is not. Now our education system is predicated on the idea of academic ability. And there's a reason. The whole system was invented -- around the world, there were no public systems of education, before the 19th century. They all came into being to meet the needs of industrialism.
