Introduction
* Job Specialisation is when an employee job composed of a small part of a larger task or focusing at the specific area that they are expertise in (Williams & McWilliams 2010). * Job Design is a number of a variety task that an employee needs to perform during work. (Williams & McWilliams 2010) * Job Characteristics Model is used to describe on how job specialization may effect the job satisfaction in order to eliminate employee’s boredom during performing their task given. * Purpose : To point out the importance of Job Characteristics that might have direct effect on Job Satisfaction as an approach to Job Design. Furthermore, this study will show how importance to modified job specialization to increase the employee’s performance.

Paragraph 1 * To proposes that advantages and disadvantages of job specialisation. * Why does companies used job specialization as their job design and what is the impact on the companies’. Paragraph 2 * By using the Job Characteristics Model, how does this specialised job given to the worker’s affect their job satisfaction? * Example : A specialised job as a lecturer, what implications that a company needs to offer in order for the lecturer to motivate to gain a quality students and avoid boredom during working hours. Paragraph 3 * How does job specialisation modifies that was offered to the workers can have a positive impact on the company’s performance and high job satisfaction * Example : freedom of the lectures to conduct the class in their own style. Conclusion Job specialisation is an important element to a company’s job design and it may have a positive and negative impact on an employee’s performance and this can overcome by how does the companies use Job characteristics model by modified the job specialisations to increase the worker’s job satisfaction.     The job characteristics model consists of five components which are skill variety, task identity, task significance, autonomy and feedback. These components affect factors such as performance, motivation, absenteeism , turnover and satisfaction of the employees. The purpose is to increase performance, motivation and satisfaction of the employees and to decrease absenteeism and turnover. The job characteristics model is one of the most important attempt models to design jobs. This model is proposed by Hackman and Oldham. Skill variety, task identity and task significance all contributes to the meaningfulness of work. Autonomy contributes to the responsibility for the work outcomes and feedback is the knowledge of the results of work. From the three psychological states, meaningfulness is the most important that affects employees attitude at work. Meaningfulness of work means that labour has meaning to you. It’s something that you can relate to and not think of it as repetitive tasks at work. This builds upon self-motivation. Responsibility at work means that you as an employee have granted the opportunity to be a success or failure at work because freedom has been granted to you. This gives the ability to make changes based on what you come across on the job. Knowledge of outcomes means when the employee acknowledges their success at work and what they can do to improve and to emotionally connect with customers of what they are outputting. This adds more purpose to work. From the five core components of the characteristics model, we decided to focus on autonomy and feedback as we believe it contributes most to the model in general.…

    A company may mistakenly believe that money is the only inspiration for their employees. For many people, job design is as important as reasonable payment in encouraging employees to be more effective. Job design has an impact on employee inspiration, job fulfillment and dedication to their company, all of which have an important effect on the performance of a company. Projects are often developed in a way that motivates expertise. Performance is separated into specific tasks, with the employee allocated to each process becoming very knowledgeable, precise and effective at doing it. However, an often neglected issue with expertise is that it generally has a negative effect on employee inspiration. While an employee may become very effective and knowledgeable at finishing a frequent process, the lack of wide range in their day can cause to dullness and a feeling of detachment from the overall objectives and success of the company. They feel that as long as they finish their job satisfactorily, there is no need to be involved with any other aspect of the company. A possible fix for company issue includes offering employees with more wide range in their work. One technique to do this is presenting job rotating, where employees move between different jobs regularly. Not only will this reduce the boredom of their work, but it will create a group with a broader range of capabilities. Another way to enhance employee inspiration is through job enlargement. This is where employees are progressively provided with more complicated work and greater liability.
