Essay On Why Guns Should Be Banned
There is many things happening in the United States that involves guns every year. People are using them for hunting, target shooting, self-defense, and they use it for murder. The number of times a murder happens each year by somebody using a gun is pretty big. Many people are wanting to have guns banned or have them only for self-defense. It is a big problem for people, because they are just out on the street or in a store and the next thing they would get shot and killed. I think that if guns were to be banned, they should just ban pistol and semi-automatic rifles, because many people like to go hunting and it would take the enjoyment of hunting away from those people. The United States need to look at the big picture and think about what would happen if all guns were banned. There is a site called rulen.com that has multiple reasons that guns should be banned. I think that a lot of them are stupid and not a good reason why they need to be banned. One of them is that it works if the guns are banned, which is why NYC, Detroit, DC, and Chicago cops need guns. I think these are better than the reasons why guns should be banned. They make more sense and sound like the truth. One reason would be: “the police are not there to protect us.” Part of that is true. I would agree on saying that if the police were not within a few minutes of where I was at, then having a gun would be a good way to have protection.
