Essay On Liberal Arts Degree
My plan with a Liberal Arts degree is to acquire all the knowledge I need to succeed in the publishing world. I have been writing without any formal education since I was very young, and even submitted works to agents and editors, some of which asked for more of my work. Regardless, I wanted to polish my writing and gain the necessary skills and this is what I hope to achieve.
For this reason, I wish to gain a solid foundation for my writing career. The expected outcome after completing this degree is for me to have a firm grasp and understanding on what it takes to be a professional writer, as well as having developed all the tools and skills to set my writing apart in this highly competitive field and triumph.

With English as my second language, I am lost at times on how to construct a proper sentence. This class would refresh the rules of grammar, crafting as a result even better sentences.
Style and Effectiveness would help me analyze and study the effective use of prose by authors who have excelled in their craft and how these stylistic choices have become best-sellers.
Writing for Food Studies is the combination of my passions: writing and food. This will equip me to share my love and experience in the culinary arts.
Finally, Literature Seminar: Girls, would be a seminal class for me. I could explore how women have been portrayed, learning how women have been treated in literature, ultimately empowering my female characters. I want my writing to reflect women as they are truthfully: their thinking, their beauty, the complexity of their feelings, and that they cannot be caged in either the innocent doe or the femme fatale.
Ultimately, I want my writing to stir all kind of emotions, I want my reader to fully engage in the story and become immersed in the amazing world that I know I am capable of creating. Only with a Liberal Arts degree can I be the captivating, original writer I wish to
