Essay On Beowulf Is A Hero
Who is your favorite superhero? There are many heroes around us and some we may not know. The very first hero is Beowulf he was a hero to his people and done many good. He was the one who started doing well.
We look at hero’s as someone who is amazing and we want to be like them. All these movies about hero’s such as Spiderman, batman ect. We all wanted to have the same power as them. Beowulf had a duty to do to protect the people from any danger. Once you protected them they expect them to save the rest of the people or town. Duty means the obligation doing it even though you don’t want to. Beowulf it was a choice for him to help others because he knew that is what the best is for everyone, he could have stopped helping people and left everyone hanging.

When he went against this dragon he sacrificed everything. He did die trying, but he did do his. That is what really matters. Beowulf last words were that he wanted the gold to go to the people. He wanted other people to have it. Even when he was dying he was still helping people out. I think that through his life he knew that’s what he needed to do. Beowulf wanted a lighthouse to be remembered. Of course this make sense that he wanted to still continue to help people. People who were sailing and trying to get back to shore but couldn’t find their way the light house was there to help them. After he died he was still helping people
Clearly this is a very important poem and we should all learn from this. I did especially because that makes me think what good I could do for people, especially the ones who need the help.
