Although people tend to be more convenience in fast foods, home cooked meals are considered to give you much more advantages. Eating healthy brings healthiness without making dramatic change in your life. Using the food pyramid is another way of eating healthy. Home cooked meals are generally considered healthier than fast food. Why, because fast food meals typically contain high levels of calories, fats, sugar, salt, etc. People don’t look at the health risks that come along with fast foods all because they don’t have time to select and prepare a home cooked meal. In today’s society, fast food is a faster way to eat. There are benefits of home cooked meals that outweigh the use of fast foods. Eating fast foods periodically to save time is beneficial, depending on the lifestyle or the person utilizing this nourishment. If a person eats too much fast food on a daily source of nourishment without exercising, it could cause a health problem. Home cooked meals win hands down versus the fast foods we all eat. You are in control of what goes into your food when they are home cooked. People still turn to fast food meals despite of the health benefits. When you are eating out, you are not aware of the ingredient that’s placed into the foods that’s cooked at the restaurant. Do you want to contract high cholesterol all because you are not eating healthy, because that’s where you are headed.

First, home cooked meals are way healthier than fast foods and cheaper. They are delicious, fresh, and do not contain as much fat as in fast foods. With home cooked meals, you are adding and subtracting whatever you want. The price you spend on ingredients, gas, electricity, etc. when you cook at home, the cost is different and not as large as people believe. These ingredients are chosen by yourself so you will know what’s placed into your foods. Preparing meals at home,

The poem is arranged as the narrator having a dream and in his dream he is communicating with the cross on which Jesus was crucified. The stanzas are split up into separate sections. Around section one, the storyteller has a vision of the cross (a sign). At first when the dreamer sees the cross, he summaries how it is covered with gems. The dreamer is also mindful of how vile he is compared to how magnificent the tree is. In spite of this, he occurs to him that among the beautiful stones it is tainted with blood.…

As I look at essays from school and letters that I wrote to friends, my writing is like two different languages. For essays, I would write every single word out and my letters to my friends would have almost every word shortened. W/e, FYI, lol, w/b, lylas, brb. Sometimes I even use those words when I talk to my friends. I have even used the shortened words while I talked to my parents and they have told me to stop speaking gibberish and start speaking English. It is especially hard to write every single word out in school after summer break when all I did when I wrote was text my friends or write with the shortened words on MSN Messenger.…

People blame fast food restaurants that they are offering unhealthy foods to the public. However, this is not the case since fast foods are healthy, but when taken in large quantities and on a regular basis, they may have adverse effects on one’s body. In turn, this makes it the people’s responsibility to watch the amount of fast foods they ingest. Moreover, one is not forced to eat from their vast menu of fast foods in the various restaurants. Hence, people have a choice on whether to take in fast foods or neglect the temptation and eat home cooked meals (Rose web).…

On November 21, I received a negative counseling for disrespecting a Non Commissioned Officer, though it was warranted by a series of events I didn’t agree with I should have found a more appropriate way to voice my concerns. The online dictionary defines disrespect as an expression of lack of respect and a fashion that is generally disrespectful and contemptuous. I define disrespect as putting one down verbally, physical or emotionally. In this essay I will be talking about the research I did on article 88 and 91 of the uniformed code of military justice. Disrespect and insubordination in the army affects the ability of a unit to maintain discipline and order. The uniformed code of military justice (ucmj) is the bedrock of military law. The uniformed code of military justice, (ucmj), and are known as the "punitive articles," that is, specific offenses can result in court-martial. The law requires the commander in chief (the president of the United States of America) to implement the provisions of the uniformed code of military justice (ucmj). The president does this via an executive order known as the "manual for court martial" (mcm). Chapter four of the manual for court martial, aka mcm, includes and expands on the punitive articles. The manual for court martial, mcm, divides the punitive articles into six parts, the text, and elements of the offense, an explanation, lesser included offenses, maximum permissive punishments, and sample specifications. The first part of six of the manual for court martial, mcm, is the text. This is the exact text of the article, as congress approved it and the uniformed code of military justice, ucmj. The second part of six of the manual for court martial, mcm, is the elements; these are the specifics of the offense. The third is next but, first back to the elements... In order to support a finding of guilty, the government must prove each and every element of the offense…

    Why Fast Food Is Bad

The impact to health from fast food is quite staggering when it is consumed on a regular basis. Unfortunately, an ever growing number of households are doing exactly that, as fewer and fewer families rely on someone doing any conventional cooking using fresh food ingredients. Far too many households feed themselves on a constant, daily diet of microwaved ready meals with very little or zero fresh fruit or vegetables. Then they "treat" themselves to a meal out, by visiting a burger or pizza restaurant, or if they're feeling in need of a healthy meal, a steak and fries restaurant!…

I come from a working family. Both of my parents have worked for as long as I can remember. When my mom or dad came home, my sisters and I would be ecstatic. We would run to the door to see them, give them a hug and a kiss cherishing the moment we had to see them. This scene has replayed every day until this day. I now realize that when I have my kids I don’t ever want them to go through what I did, not being able to see their parents as much as they hoped to. Something that has shaped my life and has brought up the person that I am today is my parents mostly my mother who has never gave up on me no matter what my struggles were. When I was about 15 years old my parents sent me off to a group home for the first time not knowing what to expect I waited till I arrived. I was very benighted, I did not like it at all I wanted to do is go home but I knew I had to stay strong. I had never spent more than a few days away from home always so use to having everything my way sleeping in my bed. However a few days passed by, I decided to make the best of it. Normally I would have shied away from any social contact, but my counselor changed that. For once there was an adult who would listen to me and actually comprehend me aside from my mother. This adult had a huge impact in my life. While I was in the group home I felt like I could truly be myself. I didn’t have to be afraid of social contact when I was there because there was a counselor with me there, however there were also girls going through the same struggles who understood me instead of judging me. This is why I would someday like to help kids like myself who are afraid of revealing who they really are. This one person showed me that there was a place in this world where you didn’t have to be judged on your outward appearance. A counselor changed the way I looked at the world, and my expectations. This change in thought influences me every day. Because of…
