Nowadays, Internet is one important part of our daily life. We cannot live in a modern life without it. It helps us to search for information, communicate with other people or even give relaxation to us. Therefore, Internet will have good influences on the people.

Internet is the platforms and tools for learning. Students usually use Wikipedia to gather information for their school projects or studies. When the examinations are around the corner, they can look for the previous years exam papers on the Internet to do practices. During the school holidays, teachers will upload homework or teaching resources on the E-learning so that students can study by themselves.

The primary goal of Internet is communication. By sending e-mail, we can contact a person who is physically present thousand miles away within the fraction of a second’s time. We also can express ourselves, share our photos or make friends around the world through social network like Facebook or Twitter. With BlogSpot, we actually can share our daily life to our friends and family.

Other benefit of Internet is online services. We can have online shopping; online banking or we can even buy movie tickets through Internet. We can save a lot of time travelling around. But when we avail those services, the prices will definitely become more expensive.

However, there are some disadvantages about Internet. There is a lot of explicit websites and one of them is pornography. Pornography is very harmful for children. It has very bad influence on the mental health for them. There are some websites contain virus. It will interrupt the usual operation of our computer system and give us a lot of trouble. There is one more disadvantage of Internet, which is game online. Some students may be addicted by game online and this will cause the lack of concentration of their studies.

Based on all points presented, Internet has caused more good than harm. Hence, it is very useful for our daily life if we know how to use it wisely. (337 words)
