Environmental Protection
Environmental protection Environmental protection is the main problem facing humanity nowadays. Ten years ago the world “ecology” hardly meant anything for the majority of people, but today we can’t help bearing it in our minds. It has happened because of the growing effect of the rapid industrial development of the natural world, which has negative features of its own. As a matter of fact the state of environment has greatly worsened of late. There is no doubt that soil, water and air are contaminated with toxic wastes. Over the past few years we have been constantly speaking about ozone holes, droughts, high level of radiation, about food contaminated with chemicals. Scientists in many countries are very much concerned about drastic (радикальный) changes in weather patterns. Weather patterns have been changing recently due to the global warming up the process and its major reason – the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is created by carbon dioxide emissions, released from the burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil and gas) in rich countries and a constantly increasing number of cars. Humans generate about 24 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide each year. It doesn't take long to realise that there is no realistic chance of solving the greenhouse problem by planting trees to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Firstly we'd have to plant something like the area of Australia, and secondly this would only take carbon from the atmosphere while the trees were growing. To solve this burning problem it is necessary for people to combine efforts to raise safety standards at all industrial facilities, to set up international space laboratory, to monitor the state of environment and set up an international centre for emergency environmental assistance. All these measures will help us in solving these important problems and prevent us from dangerous illnesses and diseases. A variety of environmental problems now affect our entire world. As

In the 1980s, an issue emerged which exposed the correlation between racism, poverty, and environmental threats in the United States. This issue known as environmental injustice suggests that ethnic minorities and the poor communities are targets for toxic industries. I never realized the effect that social determinants play in the role of someone’s health based on where they grow up and live all their life. Social determinants of someone’s health consist of the condition someone is born, raised, lived, worked, and their age. These main issues are a key role in determining our understanding of why conditions within these areas are so hard for people and why it makes it hard for them to leave these areas. Many people don’t know what’s truly beyond the world they live in now, so they are forced to settle with what they have and deal with it.…

For many years, people have satisfied their needs, without showing any concerns or awareness about the care of our planet, the way we treat our environment is described by some, like murder. Thus, it is natural to ask ourselves if the environment should be protected because and only because human livelihoods depend upon it or the opposite, that us, humans, exist only because of our planet, and that we should do all our best to save the air we breathe, the ground we live on, the entire environment that surrounds us. First of all the study will begin by what the environment is through time, then it will show the obvious relationship between environment and human beings and its issues, and it will finish by the question of ethics about human and nature.…

Nowadays you must have heard about the growing concern towards global environmental problems. One may ask why there is so much concern about the environment. The answer is simple and clear; our very existence depends on conservation of the environment. Human beings find expression, fulfilment and meaning of life, in relation to the environment in which they live. Natural environment being existential to life on earth forms an integral part of human life. Paganism, nature-worship and such age old customs retained by mankind are self-evident of Man’s close connection and relation with nature and the natural phenomena. With the advent of modern civilization, development and industrial growth, Man has developed a rivalry with nature. The personal and emotional cord between man and nature has already been lost during the process of growth and progress of mankind. But, the human body made of five elements can not survive without Nature. This crude realisation raises many questions including question of ethics, human as well as environmental ethics to be taken up seriously. Eighteenth century onwards people, scientists, thinkers, philosophers and activists have set stage for the environmental consciousness in response to the rapid industrialisation causing dramatic environmental degradation. The modern environmentalism springs up to an ideology of “scientific conservation,” earlier visualized by Wordsworth and Keats as emotional relationship with nature.…

In recent years, the global environment has experienced problems never anticipated before; environmental problems that can ultimately lead to world destruction and towards the elimination of the human race if not treated properly. Moreover, the global atmosphere plays a critical and vital role as it is the source of important gases necessary to maintain life on this planet. However, recent cases have shown that nations around the world are contaminating the globe’s atmosphere as they use it in efforts to clear waste. As more nations are becoming industrialized due to the globalization of world economies, there is a greater amount of discharge from different types of production. In brief, the degradation of the global atmosphere is caused by practically everyone around the world. Unlike countries which have specific boundaries that specify territorial restrictions, the atmosphere does not have an owner; it literally belongs to every individual that steps foot on this planet. Therefore it is important that the general public becomes aware of the consequences that may emerge because of environmental mistreatment.…
