Arabic and English Arabic language and English language are considered the most famous and important languages in the world. Arabic language is a very important language in Islamic countries. The Koran is the mine holy book in Islamic region. Muslims all over the world study and used this language to understand the mining of the Koran. so many Islamic countries study the Arabic language in their schools. On the other hand, English language is considered the most international worldwide. Due to this fact, it is very necessary for majority of educated people to learner English language, to understand the new tacnolgest in the world . Therefore, this essay explores some of these differences in the area of vocabularies and grammar. First, the Arabic language has more consonants Alphabet than English language. There are 28 consonants in the Arabic while there are only 24 in the English. However, Arabic language has much less vowels (diphthongs) than English language. The English vowels are 22, while the Arabian vowels are only 8 vowels. In additional, there are very few English or Arabic cognates. This significantly increases in two ways: firstly, the difficulties they have in comprehending what they hear and read. Secondly, the effort they must make to acquire a strong English word store.
