Introduction
The English Language has been spoken for many years, in this project I will talk about its origin and how it is divided in different periods you can how it has transformation has influenced the words we used today. Also about the founders or founders.
English, as you know, is a major language. In Canada, United States, Australia, England, etc. The thing is around the globe I will tell you how it’s been spread around the world.
As you know English is international, its use for international Business and helps we communicate with other people.
Origin of English Language
The English language started with Germanic tribes that invaded Britain in the 5th century AD. The tribes the Angles, the Saxons and the Jutes crossed the North Sea to what we know today as Denmark and Northern Germany. At the time they spoke a Celtic language, most of these speakers where pushed away by invaders into what we now as Wales, Scotland and Ireland. The Angles came from Englaland or Engle and they spoke Englisc.
Now, the history of English has change so much that it has been divided into three main periods: Old English (450-1100 AD), Middle English (1100-circa 1500 AD) and Modern English (since 1500).
Old English (450-1100 AD)
Old English is totally different from English today it doesn’t sound or look like in how we use it now. It would be hard for us to understand it. Now, words like be, strong and water, come from Old English. Old English was spoken until 1100. Part of Beowulf, a poem written in Old English
