English as a Global Languege
The Future of English as the Global Language Is Assured

English is the first language for the people in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand. Also, English is the second language for many countries over the world. The English now is the first global language. The question is will English be the first language in future or not. Some people say no, but I think the English will be the first language for long time.
The people, who said the English will not be the first language, have some reasons. They think the English is not easy to learn because the English words frequently change. Second, they think about Japanese should be the first language. The last reason is some people don’t like to study in the United States.
Some people feel English is difficult to learn because the English words sometime have change. However the change in English language is good because it makes English so easy. The change in English is in the words not in the grammar. The changes help us to learn fast and easily.
Many people think that the Japanese language will be the global language because the technology in Japan is advanced. Industry in Japan has become excellent. The United States is the stronger technology country and the best country in the industry. Some people like to study in Japan because they think the education there is good. They should learn the Japanese language and that will make the Japanese language the global language. However, education in United States is the best one and all the good universities use the English language.
The English language is the first language for first world nation and the second language for the most countries. Some countries teach English in the school as the second language. If the students learn
English in the schools now that will make them know English in future and that will make the English the global language.
Many countries use English in science, business, aviation, entertainment, and radio

Due to the first industrial revolution in the 1760s, Britain became prosperous and rose quickly. In order to accumulate the capital, the Britain Empire began its colonial expansion, during which English, as a kind of language, was transmitted across the world. Nowadays, English has become a global language. It is estimated by David Crystal that about 350 million’s first language is English, along with 250-350 million speaking English as second language [1]. With the process of globalization, the number of people speaking English is still increasing. Although other kinds of language such as Chinese, French and German attract more and more speakers, I hold the belief that the future status of English as the global language is assured.…

There is no doubt whatsoever about English being a global language in these times we are leaving in. It has become the language of communication and technology and any one who does not want to be left behind in all this has no option but to learn it and eventually English speakers in the coming years will increase extremely. This in itself will disadvantage the native English speakers as they will be outnumbered by the non-native English speakers. They will be the only ones speaking one language as they will see no reason in learning a second language. With time the English language will be controlled be the many non-native speakers who will have become competent in it. The language will then diversify into many versions that will then bring about a lesser understanding than it was initially intended.…

Many aspects contribute to the rise of English speakers around the world; they include the number of people who speak English and the visibility of those people through things such as media, tourism and business, the need for people around the world to be able to communicate in a common language and the common language that is spoken in politics. However, countries that do not speak English will be at a severe disadvantage. The need for a global language is the driving force behind the rise of English speakers, whether that be as a first or second language.…
