Empathic Listening Statement
Participants all experienced an increase in their ability to use empathic listening statements and empathic questioning during social conversation with their peers. During the baseline all the participants found it difficult to communicate with their peers meanwhile at the beginning of the intervention process, all the participants were able to express verbal empathetic listening statements to their friends. It was also realized John, Peter and Dan improved in their ability to rightly ask questions to express empathic feeling during a social conversation. Participants from the social validity measure indicates all of them reported improvements in confidence in communication and expression of empathy due to intervention.
