Emma Watson The want to become an actress is what helped Emma Watson become the person she is today. Becoming an actress has opened so many doors to her. It has helped her become not only famous but a role model to people everywhere. She has taken her role from Harry Potter and used it to inspire other young girls across the world. She herself has become a worldwide phenomenon. Her opportunities do not stop at acting. Emma Watson has had and has many opportunities open to her. According to Biography Today, "Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born on April 15, 1990" ("Emma Watson 1990-" 419). Her loving parents are, according to Biography Today, "Jacqueline and Chris Watson" ("Emma Watson 1990-" 419). Three years after having Emma they had a son who is named Alex. Jacqueline and Chris are both lawyers and are now divorced. According to Biography Today, "She wanted to be an actress since the young age of three years old" ("Emma Watson 1990-" 420). She went to Dragon school in Oxford, and according to Biography Today, "She participated in many of her schools plays including: Arthur: The Young Years, The Swallow and the Prince, Alice in Wonderland, and the Happy Prince" ("Emma Watson 1990-" 420). These experiences of acting would help her in her future. When she was nine years old, her Harry Potter Experience began. Her love for Harry Potter started at a young age and continued on into her adult life. According to Biography Today, "Her dad read the first and second books of Harry Potter and she was in the middle of the third when she started auditioning" ("Emma Watson 1990-" 420). Auditions for Harry Potter was being held in her school gym and they asked all the teachers to put a list together of students they thought would be interested and good at the different main roles.
