Emerging Adulthood Research Paper
I don’t feel like emerging adulthood (18-25) is like a developmental period that a person has gone through already. At this age a person becomes an adult. They generally leave the comfort and stability of their parent’s home and are put into a place with several brand new responsibilities. The person is now longer being taken care of by their parents, but they have to stand on their own two feet. I can see small similarities in other developmental time such as adolescents, when the start to gain more independence. But at this age that level of independence is magnified greatly.
