Elon Musk: A Hero
In 2.8 seconds the Tesla Model S P85D can go from zero to sixty MPH. Elon Musk is the owner of Tesla, Solar City, and Space X. All of those companies all have one thing in common they are all trying to help the world. Tesla is trying to solve the problem of fossil fuels by being an all electric car company. Solar city is using the greatest source of energy from the sun to power your home. Space X is trying to expand the world by exploring other planets in addition to Earth. As the owner of these these companies Elon Musk is a hero because he helps the world and makes it a better place by trying to use alternative fuel to help to eliminate our carbon footprint.

In Ted talk he talks about patents. "EM: No, we don't patent.CA: You didn't patent because you think it's more dangerous to patent than not to patent. 14:21 EM: Since our primary competitors are national governments, the enforceability of patents is questionable.(Laughter) (Applause)"(ted). He doesn't believe patents because he believes that he is trying to make technology better not keeping people from advancing there own technology. He is a hero for that reason because he doesn't care about profit he just wants to make the earth better. In the interview he says. "It was really more from the standpoint of what are the things that need to happen in order for the future to be an exciting and inspiring one?"(ted). This supports him being a hero because he is trying to make a better future for everyone. He is trying to inspire people to do new things and get out of their comfort zone. Americans are used to turning on the lights without thinking where the energy comes from.
Musk is a hero because he wants to bring awareness to saving the Earth. Through his company's he is trying to make the world a better place by saving the planet from harmful pollution.

With his drive for changing environment, donating money, and his efforts to make the world a better place Elon Must is definitely a hero to me. My definition of a hero is trying to help the world and making it a better place and that is exactly what Elon musk is
