Introduction about Ellen “Be kind to one another”. That is how Ellen Degeneres ends her show everyday. Ellen was born on January 28, 1958, and she is 44 years old. Ellen has her own tv show called “Ellen”. Ellen has won many awards and hosted many events, people know Ellen all over the world for her big heart, funny mouth, and more. On September 15, 2008 Ellen was announced as the new cover girl for Maybelline. Ellen is also a lesbian, she is married to Portia de Rossi, they have been married for 9 years. Ellen is a inspiration Individual because inspires people, has accomplished many things, and how she became a talk show host.

Ellen has her own talk show called “Ellen”. The article says, “Redemption as a television artiste came in 2003, when DeGeneres's daytime talk show”(Imdb). Ellen created the show “Ellen” in 2001 but because of low audition she had to cancel the show. But she didn’t stop, Ellen loved being on tv and making people want to come home everyday and watch her show and make them smile. Because of that she tried again in 2003. The show became a huge hit, her auditions went way up and know people all around the world watch her show. “Ellen” is on every day Monday-Friday at 4pm, Ellen tapes her show at the Warner Bros. studio in Bankburk, California. Ellen wants everyone to be able to watch her show, her tickets don’t cost money but, the plan ticket out to California cost money. In her first three season she got 15 emmy awards. Today Ellen is on season 14, and her show is still a huge hit (Imdb).

Thirdly, Ellen Degeneres is an inspirational individual because of what she has accomplished. Ellen Degeneres is not only know for her stellar tv show. The article says, “A unique combination of kind and funny, Ellen DeGeneres became a popular choice to host major awards telecasts”(Bibliography).
