Elle Woods: Film Analysis
The film centers on Elle Woods, a sorority girl who her boyfriend Warner leaves behind to pursue a more serious life after being accepted into Harvard Law School. In an attempt to win Werner back, Elle decides to apply to Harvard Law School and gets accepted. At Harvard, Elle gets put through hell at the hands of other presumably highly intelligent students, law professors, and specifically Vivian, who is Warner’s new fiancée. Vivian humiliates Elle in both social and academic environments, flexing her intelligence in the classroom and at a party, both of which are at Elle’s expense.
