This allows them to give us insight from a brand new perspective that could be more beneficial than a perspective from our peers. Personally, I have been exposed to constructive advice from my grandparents. They grew up in the 1960s and 1970s and come from a time of revolutionary ideas and social reform. Influenced by their time, they gave me the greatest piece of advice I will ever receive: “Be kind to everyone, you never know what is happening in their lives.” Due to those meaningful words my whole demeanor has changed and I treat people with even more kindness and respect. On a grander scale, her majesty Queen Elizabeth II grants her kin with timeless advice. Since she is ninety years old, The Queen has lived through various time periods that each hold their own importance. She holds wisdom that once given to her relatives and children, they have a wholehearted understanding of the world. When The Queen sadly departs, her family has the potential to craft a bright future for England from their understanding of its past and the worldly insight given by her…

First, Queen Elizabeth achieves her purpose of persuading them that she is a trustworthy leader is through acknowledgement. The purpose of acknowledgement is to recognize a drawback in her argument but providing a solution. When Queen Elizabeth says “I know I have the body but of a weak and feeble woman; but I have the heart and stomach of a king, and of a king of England too.”, she is acknowledging the point that she knows she is a woman and women's are not as tough as a man, but her strength is just like a king. “She claimed the throne at the age of 25 and held it for 44 years. She kept England in the ascendant through wars, political and religious turmoil” (Queen Elizabeth 1 Biography). She took the throne in 1558 after the death of her sister. Queen Elizabeth 1was a great leader but was also an unexpected one. “Her birth was a bitter disappointment to her father, who had anticipated the birth of a son”(Williamson). Although she was seen as a second choice to her family, she still arose to the occasion and ruled her country. The image of Elizabeth's reign is one of triumph and success. The Queen herself was often called 'Gloriana', 'Good Queen Bess' and 'The Virgin Queen'. Regardless of the many obstacles she faced, she remained strong and never broke. One example of the obstacles that she faced was the fact that she lost her mother, Anne Boleyn, at a very young and helpless age. Without that female figure in her life, it was a little more difficult to get through life. Regardless of her loss, she grew up to be a very mature, beautiful, well mannered, healthy, cool, strong hearted, smart, independent, strong, nice, gorgeous Queen.…

Elizabeth was a powerful woman in a man’s world however her achievements started long before her reign. Surviving long enough to become a Monarch was an achievement in itself. Her mother, Anne Boleyn, was executed on charge of treason, adultery and incest meaning Elizabeth was branded a bastard by her father King Henry VIII and was stripped of her title as princess when she was young . She had a jealous half sister named Mary who reigned for five years (1553-1558). During that time Mary had Elizabeth locked up and interrogated in the tower of London from March until May 1554. She was accused of taking part in the protestant rebellion; her survival accredited to some extent her competence as a ruler. During Elizabeth’s reign there were many Catholic plots and conspiracies. An example of this was The Babbington plot in 1586 the involvement in which Elizabeth charged Mary Queen of Scots to be executed angering King Phillip II of Spain.…

I was amazed to Elizabeth I because even if she belongs to the dangerous world of political intrigue, she’s still stays as she was at first. She surpassed a traumatic actions of his father by killing her stepmothers just because they can’t bear a male heir. Although his father finally have a son, Edward VI, the boy did not live long, dying at the age of sixteen after a six-year reign, I can’t imagine how terrible it was for King Henry VIII because he only need a son and this happened. I was astound by Elizabeth because at a very young age she showed her potentials and showed exceptional intelligence, excelling at her studies well beyond any of the other royal children.…
