The Eli Manning Children’s Clinic: a foundation that has raised over $3 million and every single penny goes towards making children’s clinics. The guy behind the whole charity is Eli Manning. Eli Manning made a foundation that continuously is making children’s clinics around the country to help sick kids. Eli does more than just making a multi-million dollar foundation; he once was a kid, and he was influenced by his brother and father. On top of that Eli Manning is a Super Bowl winning quarterback for the New York Giant, but before that he was just a kid living in Louisiana growing up with his family. Eli Manning’s childhood definitely affected his later life choices. Eli was born in New Orleans, LA on January 3, 1981 When growing up he lived with his Mom, Dad, and his two brother. Eli’s father was Archie Manning who was the New Orleans Saints quarterback, since he was the quarterback he wasn’t home very often with Eli. Eli just won the 2017 Walter Payton Man of the Year award which according to the NFL is given to a player that shows significant positive impact on their community off the field. When Eli learned that there were little to none children’s clinics in the state of louisiana which was Eli’s home state. Eli was very disappointed ,so he made a charity called “The Eli Manning Children’s clinics.” His charity makes children’s clinics all over the United States. Not only does he make his own charity he also supports other charities. Eli Manning participated the “BTIG Charity Day”Also before Hurricane Sandy hit New York Eli helped the “American Red Cross” get prepared for it.
