For this learning area: Use of knowledge in Practice, I have completed the second task by attending the organisation's training session on how the use of methamphetamines and trauma affects parenting capacity, skills, as well as its effects on young people. I found this training session very informative and useful especially how the clients/parents who are engaged in the child protection system do utilise some of the methamphetamines and having the knowledge which can be applied to practice about when is the best time to contact someone using these drugs, or the impacts it has on their parenting skills or the consequences of them leaving this lifestyle (sometimes threats can be made) is crucial for my own learning and personal development,
