Abstract
Dengue fever has always been a problem to everyone and it is not advisable to always use pesticide to control the mosquito-causing dengue since it will cause harm to one’s health and our environment. So this study was conducted to determine was conducted to determine the effect of aromatic plants namely pandan and lemon grass as water-based crude extracts on the normal larval (wriggler) development of pest, Aedes aegypti to reach full pupae or adult stage.
Different treatments were prepared as to Treatment A (Lemon Grass), Treatment B (Pandan), and Treatment C (Water) with three trials each. Each trial has 10 wrigglers in it. Observation and data collection were done every 24 hours for about week. The data that has been gathered were analyzed using statistical tools: Kruskal Wallis Test.
