She knew she needed the money, but at the same time she couldn't just tell white heroin's location either. Or could she? The next day Sylvie and the hunter went to the forest. They spent the whole day watching the animals. The hunter looked at Sylvie and asked her the same question. Sylvie to her surprise said yes. He knew Sylvie had betrayed him. He spent most of his times in the forest wondering where Sylvie had gone to. Being in the forest with the animals made him wonder why did he kill all those birds. He wondered what ever led up to killing animals. He did not want to be the same person he was before. He went back home that day and got buried all the animals that he kept. Days have gone by and the hunter went back to the forest, he remembered when he asked Sylvie about the white heroin, how he bribed her with money, how she accepted it and took off. He was hurt but he was not a good person himself for what he had done. Looking at the animals in the forest, he noticed all the birds that were flying around, and all the other animals that were watching him to see what he was doing. It was then that he noticed a bird on the floor that had a injured wing. he ran back home to get a bandage to help the birds wing be secure. After helping out the bird he started to cry. It was late in the afternoon and the hunter wanted to buy food for the animals, at the time he did not have money so he thought he did not have enough to buy the food. He opened his wallet, stunned. He saw that ten dollars were in there. The same ten dollars that he thought he gave to Sylvie. He did not know what to think, but he still decided to go to the store to purchase the food. He went to the forest still wondering how he had the ten dollars. While he was in the forest he noticed that the animals were gone, even all the birds that are usually seen flying around. mystery and remained an enigmatic piece of literature even in its conclusion. The point-of-view, plot, and figurative language developed by O’Brien were critical in maintaining the mystery as consistently and effectively as was evident in, In the Lake of the Woods. The main character, John Wade, believed he was a magician from early childhood and throughout his development into adulthood. He was the ultimate magician both personally and in his perception of his vocations of soldier and politician.…

Isabelle could have sworn that the man was drooling over her. She chuckled to herself, knowing that she had picked the perfect weakling to complete her plan. All of the sudden she stopped walking, for she felt something wet rolling down her leg. Isabelle slowly turned around to face whoever had the nerve to do this to her. Just as Isabelle had suspected, an innocent puppy had come over and licked her leg. Isabelle looked down at it, stared, and then screamed! “Whos is this?” Isabelle was stewing! Her hands were shaking all the way down to the tips of her black, matte, flawless fingernails. She bent down picked up the puppy, and yelled once more. “Whoever this beast belongs to please claim it now, or youĺl never see it again!” By now, Isabelle knew that she had everyone's attention, yet still, nobody said a word. For the last time, Isabelle shouted to the crowd as they stared at her in horror. “Fine then, say goodbye to the mangy mutt!” Everybody thought that Isabelle was going to kill the puppy, but to their surprise, she simply walked away with it. Nobody knew what she planned to do with it, but nobody had the nerve say anything. For the first time in a century, the streets of New York were completely silent, that was, until the owner of the puppy walked into the streets saying “Hey, has anyone seen my…

With the barrel of her musket propped firmly on the limb of a tree, Charity took steady aim at the deer. The medium-sized buck was grazing at the edge of a thicket of wax myrtles, near where she saw the deer tracks the day before. John and Uriah were squatting in the bushes behind her. She had brought them along to help with the bleeding out of the deer, should she kill one, and to help carry it back to camp. They could then dress it out and help her prepare the meat for making jerky and so forth. She also hoped to can some of the meat so that it would last a lot longer. She was glad that Nancy had shown her how and taught her how to preserve food in glass jars- it was much better than having to dry it all into tough leather strips… Taking careful aim, Charity squeezed the trigger, while saying a quick prayer that the bullet would hit its mark. She was worried that she wasn't close enough to the deer, but if she had tried to get any closer, it would have seen her and ran off into the woods.…

What happens once “happily ever after” is over and done with? No one knows if the fairy tale dream continues or if it is over and the reality of the world begins to set in. In the play “Into the Woods”, we see a plethora of literature's favorite fairy tales woven together to teach a lesson on responsibility and getting what you wish for. This production has two separate acts to it, both distinctly different. The first act serves as a continuation of the fairy tale world that we have all come to know, this serves the purpose of immediately connecting the audience to the story being told. In the second act, the entire mood changes and turns very dark and somber. This transition of mood and overall feel of the play is primed by the change in the costume and scenic design, the purpose of which was very direct and necessary in order to exude the correct emotions to the audience.…

“Now thats better” I said warmly, thinking of something I could give Lennie to make him feel better, maybe something soft for him to pet, something not alive. “You go in the house I’ll be there in a second.” I told Lennie, nudging him towards the door. He started towards the house obediently, looking back at me and the mouse every so often. I turned around on my heel and walked to the edge of the cliff and overlooked the crashing river again; admiring the foamy water, and the smooth black rocks on the shore. I hurled the mouse as far as I could, watching it fall far over the edge into oblivion.…

So we took a picture. Then we wait till sun down. Then Kubota came with its headlights to pick us up and the head- lights blinded a buck for a second it was so quick I could not tell how many points. Then we unloaded the guns and chairs on our backs, got down, and into the Kubota with Carlos, and his friend and his dog. After Carlos said are you guys ready to go? I said no! I shot a deer and I know for a fact I got her! Carlos agreed with me. “So let’s find your first beauty”. We parked the Kubota near the corn feeder where I shot it. Next we looked for blood trails, footprints, and let loose the hound to go find it. We searched for 30 minutes then then we found 1 drop of blood, then we were on its trail. Then we found more blood in a certain direction. Then, Carlos yelled to me “KYLE COME LOOK AT THIS” I saw a skeleton of a deer head next to Carlos. That’s what I thought he called me over there to see but, then as I was about to turn away I saw to the left of the deer head and to the right of Carlos’s right leg. I see a deer leg then my face blew up faster than you can say…
