ECG MONITORING
Four-Channel Temperature Monitor & Controller

Description: The project entitled “Four-Channel Temperature Monitor & Controller” brings out basic idea behind monitoring the various parameters using an Analog to Digital Converter. Normally in an Analog digital converter there are eight channels the A/D converter used here is 0809. In which the selection of these channels can be done using their address lines A0, A1, A3.

Methodology: Any analog received from another external hardware can be amplified a given to A/D converters. Let us consider the analog inputs are given by the four different sensors ranging from 0-5v volt. The output of sensors in terms of milli volts, then the milli volt output will be amplified with the help of the suitable amplifier. Then the amplified signal will be in the range of 0 to 5 volts. Then it will be given to the ADC (analog to digital converter), this will convert the analog voltage into digital data. The ADC, which we are going to use is ADC0809, it is an eight channel eight bit ADC. This will produce 00H (00000000B) for 0 voltage and FFH (11111111B) for 5 volts. Then the converted digital data will be fed to the microcontroller. The interfacing of external signal to microcontroller is done by converting the analog signal from the amplified output is converted to digital output by using ADC these analog signals are given as input the processor through buffer to the data lines. After these operations the temperature is monitored in the LCD display .The microcontroller processor used is ATMEL/PIC. Then the interfaced signal data will be displayed for monitoring for their corresponding channel values. Here we are using only Channel 0, channel1, channel2 and channel3.

Function: The set values are given from the PC to microcontroller through serial communication (RS232). Then microcontroller processes the ADC value and displays in the LCD. If any of the temperature crosses or exceeds

There are two types technologies in smart thermostats. Geolocation fencing uses your cellphone's location to adjust the temperature in your home of office. When the phone leaves the area, the thermostat switches to the preset temperature, and when your phone is within a few miles from the location it begins heating or cooling to your comfort level. The learning algorithm software learns your behaviors over a period of weeks, adjusting automatically to the desired temperature when…
