题目:Do you agree with the viewpoint that people now easier become educated than in the past?
In the recent time, the significance of education is increasingly recognized. When it comes to the argument that if it is easier to be educated now than before, most people believe that it is really easier and more convenient to be educated but the others hold the opposite idea. In my opinion, people in the modern society exceed in the ways they could gain more knowledge for the following reasons.

Consider financial conditions. People in the modern society have much more money paying for the education than before. With the developing of the society, people have higher salary than before; they do not need to care about their social life problems such as food, living, transportation and so on. According to a recent survey, in China, more than two thousand education training schools can be found in most area of the country, if we want to gain some knowledge or to be educated, it is easy and convenient to spend the money on them, and we will be well-educated.

Thanks to the development of the technology, people now can obtain knowledge more convenient. For example, people living in the past who want to search for the information only can spend days in libraries. However, as long as we have a computer now, we could use the internet to find whatever we need just at home, there we can save a lot of time spending on the way to the libraries in the past. Further more, relying on the internet to search for the relative information only use one or two seconds.

Before I come to my conclusion, the last I want to say to support my opinion is the transportation. As the airplane is generally used in the recent time, we can go abroad and communicate to the foreigners fast and easy, we can learn more we want but could not learn in our own country. For instance, I have a friend jack, he want to learn computer science, as we know, it is well developed in America, then he flew to the United States to study in a university. Convenient transportation made his dream come true.

In a nutshell, as we can see, because of the financial conditions getting better, the develop of the technology and the convenient transportation, people in the modern society can gain knowledge faster and easier than before.

If we go back to the early days, when the Internet was not available, people had to research deeper than they do now. They spent hours and hours in a library, searching through books and newspapers. As time progressed, society started developing and new inventions were made. Friedrich Nietzsche started using a typewriter after his vision started failing, and his writings began to change. He went from “arguments to aphorisms, from thoughts to puns, from rhetoric to telegram style” (Carr 636-67). Frederick Taylor “created a set of precise instructions” that would have “maximum speed, maximum efficiency, and maximum output” for factories to use around the world (Carr 638). Taylor’s “system” made factory’s productivity soar. With these new ideas and inventions, the world began to change and now has come to a place where everything is relied on by the Net. “It’s becoming our map and our clock, our printing press and our typewriter, our calculator and our telephone, and our radio and TV” (Carr 638).…

As one example are social websites. People are capable of meeting from anywhere in the world. You can chat with somebody from Germany now; 5 minutes later meet a person from Spain, and later on meet another from Argentina. This was pretty much impossible before the invention of the internet, unless you were at a local bar in New York City or in a ONU’s convention. One more example is mailing. Regular mail used to take days, weeks, and sometimes months to reach at the destination. Today, thanks to the internet, a full letter can be sent and received in less than 5 minutes. Last of all, chatting, messaging, and talking from distance places have been improved thanks to the internet. No matter where you are, as long as you have internet connection and a device capable of web surfing like computers, a smart phone, an Iphone, etc. you can instantly communicate with somebody at the other end of the line. Web cams make even better these tasks because you can listen, talk and observe each other’s reactions. This capability is widely used in social chatting, long distance classes, and business conferences.…

Today, we have taken that they did and turned it into something much more valuable that goes beyond instinct and more into personality and choice.
